Sponge Bob Square Pints

"Are ya ready Beer Coasters? Aye aye, Captain! I can't hear you! Aye aye, Captain!

Ooooooooooohh, who drinks Mr. Pineapple under the sea?

Sponge Bob Square Pints!

Fizzy and yellow and porous is he!

Sponge Bob Square Pints!"

Think of this episode as a kid version of our "Dead Men Sip No Ales" shows. Crazy Dave absorbs another Pineapple beer, the Pineapple IPA from the Sam Adams 2013 Longshot Series, Toby sinks another Fathom with Ballast Point and Mike gets whipped off of a Whale's Tale Pale Ale from Cisco Brewers. Cheers!

Star Trek: The Next Fermentation

Beer: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Beer Coasters Podcast. It's continuing mission: to explore strange new beers, to seek out new flavors and new aromas, to boldly drink where no one has drunk before.

In this week's show, we pay homage to Trekkies everywhere and drink some Star Trek-themed beers.  For our Fermentation Conversation, we all managed to live longer and prosper with the Vulcan Ale from Harvest Moon and The Federation Of Beer.  Next, Toby gets bossed around by a Klingon Warnog from Tin Man and The Federation Of Beer.  Mike then experiences some Enlightenment from the Cosmos, while Crazy Dave explores a New Planet of Raspberry Ale(gluten free!).  Thanks for tuning in and don't forget to hit us up on the Tricorder with some Backwash.  Cheers!

Ciderfects

What happens when you add outside elements to apples when making a hard cider?  You get Ciderfects.  We've done yet another cider show and Mike couldn't be more excited to the core.  For the Fermentation Conversation, Crazy Dave and Toby check out the Crispin Artisanal Reserve Honey Crisp.  Mike heads up to Salem and hangs out with the Sprig from Far From The Tree Cider.  Crazy Dave then tries the Bad Apple from 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Toby gets blind-sided by the Julian Black & Blue.  Thanks for joining us and don't worry, we'll be back to beer next week.  Cheers!
