'Ello Gov'na! This week we visit where it all began with some Americanized versions of the traditional English IPA. In the Fermentation Conversation, we celebrate Stone's 14th year with the Emperial IPA. Then Chris gets knighted by the 400 Pound Monkey from Left Hand Brewing. Back East, Mike steps into a phone booth and gets zapped into the Middle Ages with the ImPaled Ale. Toby has nothing this week, so we put him in the iron maiden - excellent!
We really appreciate all our listeners. Thanks for joining us in the craft beer community. Cheers!
We don't like Lagers? What?! Check out this week's show where Beer Coaster Chris will try ever so hard to find nuances and flavors in a "not undrinkable" beer. Unfortunately, Beer Coaster Toby was unable to be involved in the Fermentation Conversation, where Mike & Chris try out Samuel Adams' Boston Lager for the "very first" time. Chris reaches new heights with Grand Lakes Brewing's Pumphouse Lager. Mike engages in shock and awe with the Coney Island Lager. Toby does manage to sneak in with a bottle of Port Brewing's Hot Rocks Lager as well as a visit from the Beer Jargon Guy in a galaxy far, far away.
