It's time to empty out the backpack of all the ice packs, bottle openers and sunscreen and replace it with books and pencils. That's right, Summer is almost over and we're going Back To School. Our Fermentation Conversation beer is somewhat time-sensitive and we need to Enjoy By 09.21.12. Mike stands poised, ready to attemp the Triple Lindy just before tasting the Celsius Summer Ale. Crazy Dave skips class to enjoy a beer before Twilight and Toby reflects on his days at the beach with a glass of Summer Honey. This week we go completely off the rails and try out some Meads. What is a Mead, you ask? Well, it's older than beer, therefore older than wine - but we'll leave the specifics up to the Beer Jargon Guy.
