Beer Coasters The Autumn Issue

It’s Harvest Time! For this week’s issue we’re firing up the Scythe and partaking of the years beautiful bounty of two row barley and fresh hops. We begin with some of the freshest hops around from Sierra Nevada’s 13th Harvest Wet Hop Ale.

As for our Tasting Flight this week we being in Bayou country with Abita Beer’s Pecan Harvest. From there we travel to Northeast where we find Weyerbacher’s Autumn Fest. We end in the wonderful wine country of California where Mendocino Brewing presents their Autumn Lager.

Welcome to a very special issue of the Beer Coasters Podcast. This week you join us on the emotional journey of us achieving our Six Month Milestone. We begin the issue with a celebration of Epic proportions when we get Vertical with Stone Brewing.

We begin our tasting flight this week when we become self aware as we gaze into the Mirror Mirror from Deschutes. From there we try to mend the religious tension so ever present in our society today by exploring the virtues of Saint Arnold and his 8th Devine Reserve. Lastly we tackle the very real issue of illiteracy by presenting the longest named beer we have tried to date Harpoon One Hundred Barrel Series Session Number Twenty Eight Glacier Harvest ’09 Wet Hop Ale.
