Beer Coasters You Bretta You Brett Issue
Ah yes, Brettanomyces. The beer-friendly bacteria. Never before have we enjoyed band-aids, burnt metal and pineapple more than now. So, we pay homage to The Who and infected beers with this week's issue: "You Bretta You Brett".
For our Fermentation Conversation, we all get to try the Saison Brett from Boulevard Brewing. Crazy Dave heads to wine country and falls to Temptation with Russian River. Toby cracks open a bottle of Stillwater Artisanal Ales' Premium, since it's a post-prohibition style beer. Big Gay Scott says "auf wiedersehen" to the Beer Coasters with a bacteria-laden Prairie Ale from none other than Prairie Artisan Ales. And finally, Mike discovers a retired bottle of the Mo' Betta Bretta from The Lost Abbey and New Belgium. Thanks for joining us and remember: beer that tastes like solder is not always a bad thing. Cheers!

PRE-SHOW BEER! LIVE WITH ELVIS!
It's a special pre-show tasting of a very unusual beer: Rogue Ales Voodoo Doughnut Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Banana Ale. We decided to do a single tasting, which can also be found on YouTube (just click on the tiny Elvis below). We hope you enjoy and if you like this quick segment, let us know and we'll do more. Cheers!

Just to update my thoughts on this beer. I just wanted to add that this was probably a good "Representation" of what a brett saison is. And probably should have up the rating a little.
That being said it still didn't "stand out" as much as I thought it should given that it has received such good ratings.
Maybe I just don't appreciate brett as much as I should.
