Beer Coasters TeenAle Wasteland Issue
Friday, September 6, 2013 at 12:27PM You'd think that with only Toby and Mike on the show this week, that it'd be way shorter. Well, you'd be wrong. We are keeping it rockin' and rollin' though with some music-themed beers(specifically The Who), like Stone's 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA. Okay, that's not specifically music-themed, but it is a beer in it's teens. Mike plays hookie and tries the XVII from Weyerbacher, while Toby defies his parents' curfew with the Mission St. 2013 Anniversary Ale from Steinhaus. It's got a hoppy pineyness to it ....but not a hoppy bushiness.
It's does have a nice sweet alcohol warming to it which I love and expect in a DIPA. Stone is getting close to making a good balanced DIPA.
