Beer Coasters Pintlandia Issue

When in doubt, keep the Beer Coasters Podcast weird - and put a beer on it!  For this week's episode, we pay homage to "Beervana"; Portland, Oregon(well, mostly Portland).

For our Fermentation Conversation and YouTube tasting, Crazy Dave and Mike try Six from Upright Brewing.  Toby also tries some Upright, but he steps it up a notch with Seven.  Mike celebrates with Rogue Ales, the 25th Anniversary Integrity Ale and Crazy Dave puckers up with a bottle of the Apricot from Cascade.

Beer Coasters Irish-ish Issue

St. Patrick's Day is here again and that means Irish beer.  But, here at the Beer Coasters Podcast, it means Irish-ish beer.  For our YouTube tasting and Fermentation Conversation, we check out the Dry Irish Stout from Brooklyn.  We then give you a "fair and balanced" list of the best Irish beers for St. Patrick's Day.  Toby gets tricked by the beer store and tries the Wexford Irish Style Crème Ale, Mike joins his Pagan brothers and tries the Andreoillin from Mystic Brewing and Crazy Dave looks for a pot 'o gold with some O'Ryely from Widmer Brothers.  It has become tradition now for us to do a St. Patrick's Day show and we're glad to raise a pint with you.  Sláinte(big healthy poops)!

Beer Coasters Beer Hurts Issue

Beer hurts.  Yes, it does.  But, we are glad to take the pain.  With a one-two punch, the Beer Coasters are joined by "The Connecticut Thunder" himself Tony Leone.  He sits in on the YouTube tasting of the Dogfish Head Piercing Pils, as well as the entire show.  We also discuss how the Brewers Association has once again redefined what it is to be "Craft".  Tony tries to bring us to a zen state before we hurt ourselves with a bottle of Otter Creek Citra Mantra.  Crazy Dave reminds us he's a Pine In The Neck with Blue Moon, Toby experiences first degree burns with Matt's Burning Rosids from Stone and Mike doesn't see the Phantom Punch coming from Baxter Brewing.  We hope you enjoyed this painful episode and we hope you'll be back for more.  If you can you take it?  Cheers!
