To enter the mind of a fruit beer, we must challenge the mind of a Lambic.
This week on the Beer Coasters Podcast, we put the fava beans aside and pick up a glass of yet another fruit beer. But, this is no ordinary fruit beer. A centuries-old Belgian tradition of aging wild-fermented fruit ales, brings us to the modern day Lambic. These slightly sour, very sweet, refreshing beers come in many fruits and flavors. For our Fermentation Conversation, we visit the Lambic motherland, Belgium with the Kriek from Lindemans. In our Hop Topic, we discuss AB's plan to trademark area codes.
